Obituary for Paul Douglas Kohler
Brevard - Paul Douglas Kohler, born September 19, 1941, passed away on August 16, 2020 at 7:10 AM in Asheville, NC.
Paul retired from the US Navy as a Master Chief after 26 years of service and two tours in Vietnam.
Survivors include his loving daughter, Aine Nora Schardon Kohler, two brothers, Lester and John Kohler, two sisters-in-law, Doris and Mary Kohler and one brother-in-law, Oliver Lee Wright, III. He will also be remembered by all of his extended family and friends of which there are too many to name. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and/or The American Legion.
A gathering of friends will be held at Dugan’s Pub in Brevard, NC on Friday August 21, 2020 at 6:00 pm for friends and family in NC to say their farewells to Paul.
