Obituary for Paul Edward McCall

Pisgah Forest - Paul Edward McCall, entered into eternal rest Monday, May 1,2023, after a brief illness.

Born May 16, 1942, in Rosman, he was the son of the late Willard Wilkerson McCall and Edith Searcy McCall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles McCall, and Rufus "Sug" McCall, and his daughter, Shirley Jeanette McCall.

He married the love of his life, Delores Jean, September 14, 1972. He had three children Charles Ray McCall, Marie Suzanne McCall, and Kristi McCall Conley.

He attended school, lived, worked, and raised his family in Transylvania County. He started and ran several successful businesses, as well as retired from Ecusta Paper Mill after more than thirty years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean, son, Charles (Miranda), daughters, Suzanne (Chris) and Kristi (Carl Jr.), seven grandchildren, Joshua, Tonya, Tiffany, Aaron, Jessica, Adaya, and Sariah, eight great-grandchildren, brother, Arthur McCall (Edith), sisters, Francis Hill McCall and Wanda McCall Aiken (Arthur Jr.) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-law, and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2pm, Wednesday, May 10, 2023 Moody Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Benson Galloway officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in Mt Moriah Cemetery.
