Obituary for Reba Kathleen Lance (Clayton)

In Memory of:
Reba Kathleen Clayton Lance, 93, of Rosman NC was called to her heavenly home Wednesday October 2nd, 2019.
She was born on March 14th, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Tom Clayton and Emma Conley Clayton. Reba was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She loved the lord and prayed many prayers for her family over the years. She was a member of the Rosman Church of God. She was a devoted mother to her seven children. She enjoyed life and cherished many memories with her family. Her hobbies included playing bingo and having yard sales with her friends. Her favorite music was bluegrass, which she enjoyed listening to.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Lance and daughter Barbara Rigsby, and granddaughter Christy Rigsby, and one sister Marie Searcy, one brother Tommy Clayton. She is survived by her six children, daughter Ellen Leopard and husband Gerald of Brevard, Son Jimmy Lance and wife Maxine of Rosman, Charles (Doc) Lance of Rosman, daughter Eloise Mooneyham and husband Mike of Seneca South Carolina, daughter Rosemary Wich and Husband Steve of Pisgah Forest, Son Eddie Lance and wife Hettie of Rosman, best friend and granddaughter Tina Lance Pressley and Tim of Rosman. In addition, she is survived by a sister Ima Jean Lance of Rosman. She has 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Monday October 7th at 2:00 PM, with no visitation, at the Rosman Church of God, officiated by Rev. Michael Pressley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rosman Church of God. A private burial will follow in the Old Toxaway Cemetery for the family only.

Reba received her wings and now is a beautiful angel and is totally healed and is rejoicing with her loved ones.
