Glenn and I are deeply saddened by Richard's passing, and want to let the rest of family know we love you and share your grief and loss. Richard was always a stalwart man: Highly principled, devoutly religious, dependable, kind, loving, generous. He didn't just profess his Christianity, he lived it, every single day. Always there to lend a helping hand, to share a joke or a smile, or a shoulder to help carry a burden; He made the world a better place just by being here. He was devoted to his family, the community, his church, and his Lord. A humble man, he had a quiet strength, grace and dignity which naturally drew people to his warmth and kindness. He was embarrassed by any personal compliment, yet took great pride in the accomplishments of his children. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We take comfort in knowing he is reunited with Eula.
Please let us know when you arrange the memorial service. We would cherish the chance to pay our respects and see the family.
With love and sadness, Glenn and Susan Hamilton.
