Obituary for Ruby Irene Brown (Crane)
Ruby Irene Crane Brown, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 17, 2018.
Mrs. Brown was born on May 8, 1942 in Transylvania County, NC to the late Hayden and Grace McCall Crane. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Lou, two brothers, Homer and Harold Crane, and one brother-in-law, Newland Burgess.
Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Edward D. Brown; one daughter, Susan Brown Harris and husband Tony; one son, John H. Brown; one grandson, Luke Harris; three brothers, Donald Lee Crane and wife Vera, Robert Crane and wife Nancy, and James Crane; five sisters, Hazel Crane Burgess, Edna Crane Brown and husband Ernest, Frances Crane Green and husband Shirl, Nancy Crane Wilson and husband Rev. Larry Wilson, and Gaynelle Crane; sister-in-law, Margie Crane; lots of loved nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Full Gospel Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
