Obituary for Stephen Lamar Brock

Stephen Lamar Brock, 64, of Lake Toxaway, NC slipped peacefully and quietly into the arms of his Jesus early in the morning of March 15, 2023. He served six years in the US Navy and was grateful for the opportunity to serve his country. Steve was an intelligent, deep thinker who often said, “Just let me study on it.” His genuine love and appreciation for others will be missed.

Steve is survived by his faithful wife, Rose Eubanks Brock; children Amanda Drimmel of Charlotte, Jesse Eubanks of Rosman, David Brock of Brevard, Jennifer McCall (Matthew) of Balsam Grove and Maggie Brock of Charlotte; ten grandchildren ; two sisters, Debi McLamb (Ray) of Pensacola, FL, Mary Clark (Scott) of Statham, GA and one brother, David Brock of Pensacola, FL.

Steve is predeceased by his dad, Roger Brock and mother Margaret Shipman Brock as well as his niece, Malarie McLamb.

The funeral service and burial for Brock will be a graveside military service on Monday, March 20,2023 at 1PM at Mack McCall Cemetery, 300 Kitchen Loop Rd, Lake Toxaway, NC.
