Wallace K. Foster, Jr., age 73, of Lake Toxaway, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 after a hard fought battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was the son of the late Wallace K. Foster, Sr. and Cora Wilson Foster. He was preceded in death by his sister Jeanette Rahn.
A native of Transylvania County, Wallace was a hardworking member of the community who was always able to make people laugh. He enjoyed farming and sports. He was a loving husband, father, uncle and brother.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Brown Foster, one son, Nick Foster of Spartanburg, SC, one daughter, Terri Foster Reece and husband Jeff of Canton, two sisters, Anne Jones of Brevard and Mary Mashburn of Mills River, five nieces, Amanda, Rebecca, Lisa, Denise and Suzanne, two nephews, Norris and Nathan and two great nephews, Denver and Ben.
Funeral services will be held 6pm, Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in the chapel of Moody-Connolly Life Celebrations with the Rev. Michael Pressley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
