Aidan Thomas Burnette

Aidan Burnette 17, of Henderson County, went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family and their love. His passing came as a result of injuries from an accident three years ago, through which he was carried by the devotion of those around him.

Aidan was born in Haywood County, North Carolina, and spent his life in Henderson County, where he was deeply loved by family, friends, and community.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Ronnie Galloway and Junior Crumbley.

Aidan is survived by his father and mother Joe and Lanta Levi; his grandparents, Kerry & Sherry Levi, Angie Sheppard, and Ronda Wilson; uncles John Levi, Jason Galloway, Jamie Levi; his brothers, Shane Townsend, Cash Levi, and Hunter Levi; and aunts, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory with them always.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the community for its outpouring of love and support, and especially to the nurses from Bayada who cared for Aidan with such kindness and dedication — Peggy, Dorothee, Vikki, Betty, and Summer.

A private service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026.
