PISGAH FOREST- Aleisa Michelle Morris, known as "Chelle", gained her wings on Wednesday, September 15th,2021 in Solace Hospice Center, Asheville, NC. Michelle was born September 8, 1973 in Brevard, N.C. She grew up attending Enon Baptist Church, and continued life in the church body into her adulthood. She gave her life to God on August 8th, 2021. She graduated from Brevard High School in 1991, when appreciation of humanity led her to study Archaeology at Brevard College. Michelle was fluent in Spanish and held aspirations of serving in the Peace Corps. She was artistic in mind and in practice, having accomplishments in photography, stained glass and skilled crafting. Her love for the world manifested into a fondness for nature and the outdoors. She strongly exuded strength, intelligence, and open-mindedness. Her character was especially comprised of appreciation for all the ways that made people and things unique. She cherished differences, and believed in coexistence. All of these things she nurtured and embedded in her daughter, Kyley. Family left to cherish her precious memory are daughter, Kyley Aleisa Shurrona; mother and father, Terry and Sonya Morris; sister, Natasha Morris; nephew, Jordan Morris; uncle, Keith Rogers (Sonja) and uncle Mike Morris (Gail); aunt, Donna Waren (Eddie), aunt, Vickie Woodley, aunt, Linda Weaver (Tom), and aunt, Sheila Vanhill (Jeff); a plethora of other relatives, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents Bly and Eva Rogers of Pisgah Forest, NC, uncle, Kevin Rogers (Tamara) of Hendersonville, NC, and grandparents Roy and Lillian Morris, of Brevard, NC. She will continue to be known by her open-mindedness, and the solace she brought the world. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 26th, 2021 at 2:00pm at Enon Baptist Church. Rev.
