Alice Jean Enloe Foster, 92, of Brevard passed away Monday, Jan.24,2023 at the Oaks of Brevard. She was the daughter of Herbert C. Enloe and Annie Cochran Enloe. A native of Swain County she was born in Judson,NC and moved to Transylvania County with her family when Lake Fontana was built.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband William A. Surrett, her brothers Carl, Roland, Judson and Doyle Enloe and sisters Louise Hogsed and Mary Edna Walker.

She is survived by her husband James Foster, sons William Michael and wife Caron of Brevard, Chris Surrett and wife Janet of Buhl, Idaho, grandchildren Cristy Butler and husband Karl, Derrick Surrett and wife Valerie, Coy and Cody Surrett, and four great grandchildren and sister Hazel Hunter.

A private service will be held with internment at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
