Pisgah Forest- Alice Lambert Queen, age 92, died Sunday, April 28, 2019 peacefully in her sleep. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Mae Maney Lambert. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Queen, two sisters, three brothers, granddaughter, Maria Lail and two great grandsons, William and O'Brian Gibbs. Mrs. Queen was woman of deep faith. Until recently, she enjoyed volunteering at the Anchor Baptist Church Missions Warehouse. Survivors include her children, Bob Queen and wife Geneva and Diane Landreth and husband David both of Pisgah Forest; grandchildren, Robbie and Tiffany Queen of Mills River, Lisa and Jerry Lindholme of Etowah and Matthew and Jo Landreth of Mars Hill, great grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, Hannah, Tyson, Henry, Autumn, and Lexie, great-great grandchildren, Laikyn and Ivy, niece, Jeanette Hensley, nephew, Sam Lambert, special caregiver, Karen Fox and many friends and neighbors who loved her dearly.
