Brevard – Alice "Claudia" Thompson, 69, went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2016. Born in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Edward Austin and Alice Hood Williams. Claudia was a member of the Grandmothers club. She was retired from Sams Club, Walmart and the Greystone Inn. Survivors include her husband William Bruce Thompson, daughters; Tracy Brewer Williams and husband Dave of Hendersonville and Kristin Brewer of Hendersonville, grandchildren; Rogan Hoxit, Kendall Brewer Allman and Jake, Brittany and Brooklyn Williams.
