Alice English Wilson of Pisgah Forest passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

Alice was born in Brevard, NC on June 28, 1926, to Chauncey and Olevia Galloway English. She graduated from Brevard High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Fred Wilson and her sister Ann Blythe.

She lived a full and simple life of 99 years. She was a faithful woman teaching and attending Enon Baptist Church for many years. She loved talking about the Bible with anyone! She loved animals and always had a faithful friend beside her. She loved walking, watching and feeding the birds and listening to WGCR radio. She loved her family and was a great friend to her neighbors and was always willing to help where she could.

Alice is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Ken) Frady and Keitha (Clifton) Landreth; her sister, Edith (Arthur) McCall; grandchildren, Justin (Jess) Frady, Cameron (Nina) Landreth and Cain (Jaime) Landreth; great-grandchildren, Emma Frady, Maya Frady, Maddox Alexander, Cyrus Landreth, Callahan Landreth and Josie Landreth; many special nieces and nephews and friends.

Special Thanks to Barbie Allen, caregiver and granddaughter, for her unwavering support, love, kindness and friendship who put her life on hold to allow Mom to live her last years at home. We are forever grateful.

The family wishes to thank Four Seasons Hospice for their caring staff and all their help, Meals on Wheels of Brevard for not just the food but for their friendship!

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Four Seasons Hospice or Meal on Wheels Brevard.

A private graveside service was held at Blue Ridge Garden of Memory.
