Alma Jean Norman, age 69 of Brevard, passed away at home surrounded by her family. Miss Norman was born on September 24, 1951 in Transylvania County, NC to the late Jacob Norman, Sr. and the late Rachel Wilkes Norman. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Rudy Cameron Norman. She was a member of Bethel "A" Baptist Church, a graduate of Brevard High School and Los Angeles Community College, Los Angeles, CA. Miss Norman was retired from Northrup Grumman in Los Angeles, CA. Survivors include five brothers, Alfred Lee Conley, Jacob A. Norman, Jr., and Ronald S. Norman all of Brevard; Michael Norman (Charlene) of Charlotte, NC, and Bradley L. Norman (May) of Harris, NV; four sisters, Gwendolyn Leonard of Pensacola, FL, Deborah A. Norman and Gloria Williamson (Tommy) all of Brevard; and Michelle Harris (Terry) of Sophia, NC; special niece, Dr. Madalynne Grundy (Byron) of Hawthorne, CA; aunt, Mattie Wilkes of Los Angeles, CA; special friend, Leroy Little of Los Angeles, CA; god-children, Carmeshia Little, Max and Miles Little all of Los Angeles, CA; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
