Alma Frances Rideout, age 75, of Brevard, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 17, 2009. She was preceded in death by her mother Rjolena Nichols her father L.S. Nichols and a brother Fred R. Nichols Sr. She was loved and will be missed by not only her family but many friends at Carson's Creek Baptist Church and also Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton Va. Survivors include her beloved husband of 58 years Richard "Dick" Rideout of Brevard; two sons Kim Rideout and very special friend Cyndi Hogg of Hampton Va. And Kerry Rideout and his wife Christina of Brevard; one sister Mrs. Patsy Falconer and husband Jim of Newport News Va. One sister-in-law Ms. Mary Nichols of Carlton Va. A very special nephew Gary Froehlich and his wife Peggy of Chesapeake Va. Three precious Grandchildren Nicole, Justine and R.J. Funeral services were held Monday, October 19, 2009 at 11:00 am at Carson's Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Don Waters. Interment will be Thursday October 22, 2009 at 10:00am at Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News Va. With Rev. Joe Hunt Officiating . In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Carson's Creek Baptist Church.
