Alma Jane Owen Simmons, 79, of Balsam Grove, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Judia Galloway Owen. Mrs. Simmons was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Mack Simmons, daughters; Nenia S. Grooms and husband Eddie of Balsam Grove and April S. Judd and husband Glen of Balsam Grove, son; Jake Simmons of Easley, SC, sisters; Linda Kinley and Beatrice Holden, grandchildren; Jasper and Joshua Grooms and Vada Judd and five great grandchildren.
