Amy Louise Buchanan Brevard – Amy Louise Buchanan, 40, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of Phyllis Bryson of Brevard and the late David Briggs. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Garrett Buchanan. Surviving in addition to her mother are her sons, William Tyler Buchanan, and Steven Austin Buchanan and wife Brittany all of Brevard, sister, Portia Tinsley and husband Chris of Brevard; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Bryson of Brevard; aunt and uncle, Carolyn and David Crane of Augusta, GA; uncle and aunt, Charles and Nancy Briggs; uncle, Larry Briggs of Brevard; niece, Lauren Gmerek of Simpsonville, SC; nephews, Tony Sansosti of Simpsonville and Ryan Tinsley of Brevard; sister-in-law, Kim Whittaker of Brevard.
