Amy Louise Corn, age 92, of Pisgah Forest died Sunday April 8, 2012 at her residence. She was born August 25, 1919 in Transylvania County to the late Ervin Mulenex and Pearl Allison Mulenex. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Holland Corn, two sons; David Corn and Billy Corn, two brothers; Ervin A. Mulenex and Bobby Mulenex, three sisters; Veora Cantrell, Lois Mulenex and Juanita Connor. Mrs. Corn was a member of Pisgah Forest Baptist Church a member of The Order of The Eastern Star a volunteer at Transylvania Regional Hospital and retired from Ecusta. Survivors Include: one daughter- in- Law; Phyllis Corn, two brothers Wilburn and Monday Mulenex, one sister; Christine Ducker, two grandchildren; Rene Greene and her husband Scott and David Corn and his wife Tonnie, two great grandchildren Shane Greene and Olivia Corn and Will Corn, three great great grandchildren; Savannan, Bristol Greene and Tucker Corn Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 2:00pm at Pisgah Forest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tommy Owen, Rev. Bobby Owing and Rev. Shane Greene. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
