Andy "A-Rock" Rogers, 51, of Brevard, passed away April 3, 2013 at Mission Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Robert Clifton Rogers and Mildred Jamerson Rogers. He was described by his family as a kind-hearted and loving son, brother, father, uncle, friend, and all around amazing man. He always greeted people with a smile and loved making people laugh with his jokes. Andy was a hard working man for his family and his community. He was an entrepreneur and owner of Andy Rogers Lawn Service. He was a Sergeant-At-Arms for the American Legion. Andy's giving heart touched many lives. His sociable personality blessed him with many lifelong friends. He had a soft spot in his heart for children. Memories of Andy will always be cherished. He is survived by his five sons, Andrew Rogers and his wife Shaina, Taylor Rogers and his wife Melissa, Brady Rogers, Tanner Scott, Chad Galloway and his wife Kendra; brothers Mike Rogers and his wife Maria, David Rogers and his wife Beth, Kenneth Rogers and sister Annette Rogers; nephews Jared Rogers, Will Baynard, and Daniel Rogers; nieces Tab Dobbins, Sabrina Dobbins, Darcy Dobbins, Jessica Rogers, Ariel Baynard, Cassidy Rogers, and Kennedy Rogers; along with many great-nieces and great-nephews. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Moody- Connolly Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Owen officiating. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Brevard.
