Angela Renee` Sitton Scott Balsam Grove - Angela Renee` Sitton Scott, 43, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the Henry and Marie Hoxit Sitton. She was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Curtis Scott; children, Paul Henry Scott and Katharine Marie Scott; sister, Annette Shipman and husband Dwayne of Balsam Grove; uncle, Jim Hoxit of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Owen officiating.
