Anita Green Chapman "Mamaw", 70, wife of William Larry Chapman of Rosman, went home to meet her lord and savior on Saturday June 20, 2020 with her husband and daughter by her side. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Alma Green, sister of the late Lynn Green. She is survived by the love of her life Larry Chapman; daughter Lisa Chapman Galloway and husband Delbert; granddaughter Hannah Galloway Snipes and husband Cody; great grandson Dawson; "adopted daughter", Meredith Harbin and her son Max; sister, Kathy Hooper; aunts, Judy Crowe, Arlene Gilstrap, aunt, Julia Mcwhorter; uncle David Butler; sister-in-law, Gayle Green. She truly loved life, she loved being a housewife, mom, sister, daughter but, her greatest gift to us all was being a Mamaw. She loved Meredith and Hannah with all her heart and devoted her life to taking care of them but she got blessed again with our little blue-eyed boys Max and Dawson. She lived to be their Mamaw until her little body could not do it any longer. We know she is probably in Heaven taking care of the babies. She was a devout Christian where she attended Old Toxaway Baptist Church for many years. She married Larry Chapman on December 15, 1965 in Pickens SC. Their marriage was one of a kind. The love they shared was an inspiration to anyone that witnessed it. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Old Toxaway Baptist Church followed by a graveside service at 3 PM in the church cemetery.
