Ann "Cookie" Barnes Pisgah Forest – Ann "Cookie" Barnes, 74, passed away on Monday June 9, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Bill and Sue Hunt Erwin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Erwin. Cookie was a much loved teacher by many preschoolers and their parents at Transylvania County Child Development. Surviving are her husband; Robert L. Barnes, son; Aaron Barnes and daughter, Amy S. Erwin; brother, Larry Erwin and wife Cecil; sister in law, Linda Erwin. Memorial Services will be held 2pm, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Brevard.
