Brevard - Ann Marie McPherson, 79, entered eternal life on Monday, December 27, 2021.

She was born April 9, 1942 in Buffalo, NY, to the late Sebastian and Ruth (née

Elmes) Tauriello. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Ruth and Lee Tauriello.

Survivors include her beloved husband Jim, children, Laura (John) Bruening, Mark (Virginia) McPherson, and Lisa McPherson; grandchildren, Isabel, Hannah, Henry, and Gretchen and brother, Bill.

Ann and Jim relocated many times throughout their 58-year marriage and met many wonderful friends along the way, finally settling in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina.

She will be fondly remembered for her love of family (particularly her grandchildren), her kindness and exuberance, and her ability to strike up a conversation with just about anyone.

A memorial mass will be held 10am, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brevard, NC.
