It is with great sadness that the family of Annie Galloway Delk announces her passing after a brief illness on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at the age of 87. Annie was a lifelong resident of Transylvania County and the City of Brevard. Annie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Willie "Bill" Delk; and her parents Horace C. Galloway and Mae Galloway. She will forever be remembered by her children, Jackie Delk Stone, Felicia Delk McNabb, and Willam Jeffrey (Jeff) Delk (and wife Tina Armstrong Delk); along with her grandchildren, Jordan Thomas Stone, Jon Wesley Stone (and wife Kelly Mclauchlan Stone) and Benjamin Chayne Stone. Annie was a 50+ years member of the Open Arms Tabernacle church, worked 25+ years at Belding Corticelli, in Hendersonville and was a prior member of the board of the Humane Society. Annie had an infectious laugh and loved to frequent the local thrift stores in Brevard. A celebration of her life will be held at the Open Arms Tabernacle Church, 91 McLean Rd on Saturday, October 26 at 2 PM. Visitation with family and friends will be held starting at 1 PM.
