Brevard - Annie Jean Wilson Pressley, age 86, went to be with the Lord the morning of Friday, July 15, 2022.

Annie Pressley was born on June 25th, 1936 in Transylvania County, NC to the late William (Bill) Wilson and Thelma (Polly) Henderson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by infant son John Reginald Pressley and husband John Cecil (J.C.) Pressley.

Annie was known well in the Brevard community as a co-owner with J.C. of the late Shell station beside McDonalds on Asheville HWY 280 for 45 years until they retired in 2002. She enjoyed going with her two daughters Joyce and Pam to the Hair Salon and greeted many customers.

Survivors include her three daughters, Gail Jones (Erwin), of Laurens, S.C., Joyce Mull (Randy), of Brevard, N.C., Pamela Davis (Jeff), of Brevard, N.C., 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held.
