Sapphire – Arthur Colemon "Cope" Kenney, 81, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Walter J. and Hattie Dills Kenney and was the husband of the late Lovine Mary Lyday Kenney. Surviving are his daughter, Sandra F. Kenney of the home; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 23, 2011 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jimmy Burrell and Bradley Chappell officiating. Burial will be in the Montvale Whitewater Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
