Brevard – Austin Lee Rhoden, 15, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017. He was the son of Shaunda Shipman and husband Wayne of Brevard and Robert Rhoden and wife Destiny of Belton, SC. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua Rhoden; great- grandfathers, Walter McKinney and Vernon Shirley; great- grandmother, Lois Shirley; and grandfather, Roy Rhoden. Survivors include his grandmothers, Denise Wilson, Edith Mckinney Turner, DeVonna Gardner, Vickie Shipman and Linda Rhoden; grandfathers, Bobby Wilson, Fred Shipman and Thomas Martin Shirley III; sisters, Kayla Dane' Rhoden, Ashlin Rhoden, Cassie Jordan, Kendra Jordan and Sienna Shipman; aunts, Sheena Dreiling, Tracy Shipman and Rhonda Saxon; and uncle, R. D. Dreiling. A gathering of friends will be held 5:30PM Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Affirmative Word Tabernacle.
