Barbara Galloway Antone Cedar Mountain – Barbara Galloway Antone, 55, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Howard E. Galloway and Fannie Wilson Galloway. She was also preceded in death by a nephew, Kenny Holcomb. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Quebec. Surviving are her sisters, Martha Maxwell and husband Volley of Fletcher, and Margie Holcomb and husband Bob of Rosman; brothers, Robert H. Galloway of Rosman, and Richard K. Galloway of Texas; a number of nieces and nephews she adopted as her own; one uncle and several aunts. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Chester Chappell and Steve Boley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm Saturday at the church. At other times, the family will be at the home of her sister, Margie.
