Barbara Ruth Cox Johnson, age 65, of Brevard died Thursday, September 22, 2011. She was born November 1, 1945 in Transylvania County to the late Harold Lee Cox and Naomi McCall Cox. Mrs. Johnson is survived by three sons; Eric Graham Johnson of Hendersonville, James Bradford Johnson of Brevard and Harold Gregory Johnson of Cedar Mountain, two daughters; Sherri Lynn Hoxit Fisher and Kathryn Johnson White both of Brevard, one brother; James William Cox of Hendersonville, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral home. Interment will follow at Davidson River Cemetery Extension.
