Benton "Ben" Josiah Bartlett, 87, of Brevard passed away Monday, October 20, 2025, at Pruitt Health (The Oaks) – Brevard following a brief illness.

Ben was born on Aug 11, 1938, in Meadville, PA to father, Benton R. and mother, Louise (Clark) Bartlett. He graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ in June 1960 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His degree led to an almost 40 yr career as an engineer with Pratt & Whitney in CT and FL.

He married Jeanette L. Conrad on April 30, 1966, in Manchester, CT. They welcomed the arrival of two daughters while residing in CT. The family transferred to FL in 1976. He resided until his retirement, when he and Jeanette relocated to Brevard, NC in 2000. In his time in Brevard, Ben continued his love of photography and model trains. He was a member of several train groups and model railroad organizations around the country.

Ben is survived daughter, Beth of Columbia, MO and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jan and daughter, Tricia.

Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in his name.
