Bernice H. Norris Bernice H. "Bunt" Norris, 88 of Brevard, passed away October 1, 2012. Born in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Brady Hall and Aloe Fortner Hall, Mrs. Norris and her husband, the late Tinsley Augustus "Gus" Norris, retired to Transylvania County. Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her sisters Hazel Cannon and Etta Mae Childress. Surviving Mrs. Norris are sons Terry Norris and wife Cyndi of Parkland, Florida and Phil Norris of Greenville, South Carolina; and her daughter Jeanne Uchno of Brevard; grandchildren Casey Norris and wife Angie of Greer, SC, Jodie Norris of Greer, SC, Peter Uchno of Charleston, SC, Iian Norris, Caulin Norris and Allison Norris of Parkland, Florida, and three great-grandchildren: Cameron, Bryson and Haven Norris. A memorial service for Mrs. Norris will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home in Brevard with Rev. Gene Gilliam officiating.
