Lake Toxaway – Bertie Morgan Arrington, 83, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Gracie Miller Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Arrington; son, Harvey Lusk; brothers, Robert, Johnny and Alfred Morgan; sisters, Bessie Galloway and Mary Ruth Owen. Survivors include her sons; James Owen and Charlene of Lake Toxaway and Eugene Owen of Lake Toxaway; brother, H. P. Morgan of Lake Toxaway; sisters, Vera Morgan of Cedar Mountain, Frances Morgan of Cedar Mountain and Lottie McCall of Brevard; grandchildren, Amy, Chris, Cayla, John, Angel, and Casey; 17 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2pm, Friday, February 3, 2017 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
