Betty Fisher Harrison Brevard – Betty Fisher Harrison, 81, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Nancy Miller Fisher and was the wife of the late Richard Harrison. Mrs. Harrison was retired from Ecusta Corp. and worked in Endless Belt for 30 years and had served as a Steward with the paper union. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, John Michael Harrison of Hendersonville, many loving nieces and nephews and other close family members, and Zoe, her cat and faithful companion who will now reside with Friends For Life in Lake Toxaway. The graveside service were held at 3 PM Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Ann Self officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends for Life, P.
