Betty McGuirt Hinson Pisgah Forest – Betty McGuirt Hinson, 90, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Hoyt and Willie Blackman McGuirt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Walter A. Hinson, one brother and two sisters. Mrs. Hinson attended Temple Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and strived to have a beautiful yard. She was an excellent cook and always devoted herself to caring for others. Surviving are her son; James N. Hinson and wife Debbie of Heath Springs, SC, daughter; Patricia Law and husband Jim of Pisgah Forest; one sister, Sue DeShields and husband Ray ; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
