Betty Kay Hoxit, 58, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the Elizabeth House, Flat Rock, NC. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Edwin Hoxit and Lola Pearl Meyers Hoxit. Surviving are her sisters, Cleo Holden and husband Carroll of Brevard, and Dana Russell of Pisgah Forest; brothers, Tony Hoxit of Pisgah Forest and Bobby Hoxit, Sr. of Brevard. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 5, 2013 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tommy Owen officiating. Burial will be in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.
