Betty Collins Merrill, age 84, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her.

Betty was preceded in death by her sons, Bryan Keith Tritt and David Richard Tritt.

Survivors include her husband,  James Thomas Merrill, sons, Danny Thomas Tritt, John Larry Tritt, James Garry Tritt, daughters, Joyce Lynn Tritt, Debra Ann Tritt, Anna Marie Hubbard Lance, Kelly Jean Hubbard Smith, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2pm, Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Moody Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
