Etowah - Betty Bell Snyder, age 89, of Etowah passed away on Thursday, July, 14, 2022 at Carolina Reserve in Hendersonville.

She was born July 30, 1932 in Henderson County to the late James Earl Bell and Della Byrd Bell. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse H. Snyder, and 10 siblings.

Survivors include one brother, Albert (PeeWee) Bell of Etowah, one sister in law, Ardith Snyder of Etowah; sons Ronald Jesse Snyder (Pam) of Soperton, GA, and Kenneth Michael Snyder of Etowah; grandchildren Brandon Snyder of Salem, VA, Leah Marie Snyder of Indiana and Yates Gregory Snyder of Utah. Great grandchildren Caroline, Jackson and Landon Snyder of Salem, VA; and Vera Kate Snyder and Jake Snyder of Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Blue Ridge Garden of Memories in Pisgah Forest at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Serving as pallbearers will be Bruce Bell, Michael McCall, Dusty Norris and Doug Wilson.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of your choice.
