Brevard - Beverly Ann Genaw, age 93, died December 21, 2023 in Hendersonville, NC under the wonderful and compassionate care of The Greens At Hendersonville and Four Seasons Hospice.

Beverly was a devoted and loving wife to Thomas J Genaw, a loving mother to her six children Debbie Genaw of Winter Springs, Fl; Sandy O'Steen (Gary) of Hendersonville, NC; Tom Genaw of Hendersonville, NC; Chris Brackett (Kenny) of Columbus, NC; Bryon Genaw and Lisa MacDougall (Joe) of Concord, NH.  She was a loving grandmother of eleven grand children and four great grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas and her son Bryon.

Beverly was an artist and avid reader when her eyesight would allow it. She supported her husband's Charles Chips business for many years in Hendersonville and Brevard. She made buckeye candies and fudge that his customers loved, and she would call every customer personally the night before to make sure they got their Charles Chip order. She had a wicked sense of humor, making people laugh even when she didn't feel well. She could make her kids laugh until they cried. Beverly was a very caring person to all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Four Seasons Hospice of Hendersonville.  There will be a private memorial later next year.
