Billy Joe Reece, age 76, of Pisgah Forest, NC passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on January 26, 2025.

He was born on February 10, 1948, to the late Roy and Frances Tritt Reece of Pisgah Forest. He was also predeceased in death by a brother, Jerry Lee Reece.

Surviving are a daughter, Beth Krogh (Jackie); granddaughters, Crystal Halsey (Chris), Heather Green (Trent); grandson, Phillip (Chassy); great grandchildren, Benjamin, David, Billy Joe "Jo Jo", Sandra, Rose, Miles and Rivers all of Rome, GA; sister, Shirley Etters and her son, Nelson (Samantha) and very special grandson, Oskar; sister-in-law, Shirley Reece.

Billy Joe was a graduate of Brevard High School Class of 1966. He worked with keeping the class reunions going, which he enjoyed very much. He worked as a truck driver at Brevard Lumber Company for 41 years. Billy Joe enjoyed delivering building materials to local contractors and made a lot of friends with his job.

He enjoyed fishing with his uncles, John and Edward, and cousin, David, at Lake Jocassee. He will be missed by all his friends and classmates.
