Brevard – Blanche Radford Ellis, 82, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Oaks of Brevard. A native of Greenville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Pinkney and Arrie Radford Morris and was the wife of the late Thomas H. Ellis. She was also preceded in death by her son, Harold T. "Sleepy" Ellis. Mrs. Ellis was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Ecusta Corp. Surviving are her son, Jerry E. Ellis and wife Sandra of Pisgah Forest; grandchildren, Christi Ellis of Hendersonville, and Joshua Ellis of Plainwell, MI. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 19, 2011 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Whitfield officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Turkey Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
