Bobby Scott Thomas Jr., commonly known as “Scott,” to most, was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on May 1, 2026.
Scott was a local to Rosman, NC where he loved, and was loved by many. He was born on November 22, 1966. He was reunited with his Mother Phyllis Thomas.
He recently retired from the Transylvania County Sheriff's Office where he worked as a School Resource Officer for several years. One might say he was perfect for his job. The number of children and coworkers he impacted throughout his career was countless.
Scott loved the simple things in life, and could always be caught with a bright, comforting smile on his face. Fishing was a passion, and rooting for the New England Patriots with his daughter Halee, was a must.
Survivors include his Father Bobby Thomas, Daughter Halee Galloway (Thomas) & husband, Hunter, brother Mickey Thomas, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at Rosman Baptist Tabernacle on Saturday, May 23 at 12pm. This will be an informal celebration, to take time and share cherished memories with one another, just like Scott would have wanted.
