Bonnie Messina Erickson, 54, of Pisgah Forest passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Betty Carlton Messina. Bonnie was a member of the Mills River Lions Club and a board member of WNCI- Mocure Center. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlepoint and cross stitch. She was an avid putt-putt golf player. She was a wonderful wife and a devoted mother. Survivors include her husband; Curtis L. Erickson, sons; Matthew Lloyd and Caleb Joseph Erickson, brother; Charles A. Erickson and sisters; Elizabeth Ann Garrett and Robin Messina. A Celebration of life will be held from 2:00pm – 5:00pm on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Lion's Den in Pisgah Forest, 496 Hendersonville Hwy, Pisgah Forest, NC.
