Rosman - Brenda Pressley Overton 76, transitioned from her earthy home to her Heavenly home on Sunday, July 21, 2024.

Brenda was born March 27, 1948 to Rev. Carl and Ethel Chappell Pressley.  She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, William Pressley, niece Anita Pressley Gregg and great nephew Dwayne Kesterson.

She is survived by her son, Rev. Carl E. Overton and wife Crystal, three  grandsons, Alan, Dillon and Gage, two great grandsons, Malakai and River, bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren (whom she loved as her own), Rev. Nicholas Martin, sons,  Grayson and Brettley; Caleb and Courtney Harvey, son,  Cooper and Jennifer Pearson.  She is also survived by two brothers, Wayne Pressley (Loretta) and Carl M. Pressley, nieces, Janice Lane (Jimmy), Waynette Sharp (Dennis)  and Kayla Gabin (Sam), four great nephews,  Wesley Lane, Tanner Sharp, Carter Coan, Carson Coan and one great niece, Kami Cardenas and a host of cousins, special cousins, Virginia Lance, Sandra Sheppard, Michael and Laury Pressley, all who helped with her care during her illness, special close friends, Rev. Don and Lucy Littleton and Hilda Arnette.

Brenda was a member of the Rosman Church of God for over 65 years.  She served faithfully in several offices of the church as Treasurer, Sunday School teacher, Children's Church teacher, Women's Ministry and any place she was needed.

Services for Brenda will be on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Brevard Church of God, 91 McLean Road, Brevard.  Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 PM with Celebration of Life Worship Service at 2:00 with Rev. Carl Overton, Pastor Dale Pressley and Pastor Michael Pressley.  Graveside will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Chester Chappell and Pastor Bradley Chappell.
