Brent Ray Turner 57, of Brevard, NC passed away on Tuesday January 6, 2015 at the Elizabeth House in Hendersonville, NC after a couregous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Brevard, NC on November 27, 1957 to Annette T. Green and Larry Ray Turner. He graduated from Brevard High School in 1976 and attended Marion Military Institute Junior College to play his favorite sport of football. He is survived by Susan Turner, son Wood Turner, daughter Hailey Turner Robinson, grandson Derek Robinson, sister Lyn Turner Dockens, brother Chad Green and Brent's dog Smoochie. Brent was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was advid Clemson football fan, a tremendous fisherman, and a world class salesman as long time employee of Houston's Furniture Company of Brevard. A service will be held at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory on January 10, 2015 at 1:30 PM followed by a celebration of Brent's life at Jamie's Restaurant downtown Brevard from 3:00-5:00 PM.
