Brian Lee McCall, 56, of Balsam Grove, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 29th.

He was the son of Rev. Dan and Clara McCall of Balsam Grove.

He is survived by his parents, his wife Melaney, daughter and son-in-law Audria and Blake Lance of Silversteen who are expecting his 2nd grandchild in September, daughter Erica McCall and granddaughter Riley Aiken of Balsam Grove, sister Melodie Lee of Balsam Grove, father-in-law and mother-in-law Odell and Margaret Owen of Balsam Grove, sister-in-law Angie Owen of Balsam Grove, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bruce and April Hutchinson of Lake Toxaway, brother-in-law Jeff Owen of Balsam Grove, paternal aunt Doris Owen of Balsam Grove, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Bill Lee.

He was a mechanic by trade. He loved his family, fishing and hunting. Everyone that knew him, knew he had a soft heart. He was always willing to help anyone that he could. He will be missed dearly by his family, numerous friends and hunting buddies.
