Brevard - Brian Wesley Owen, passed away following an lingering illness on December 21, 2022 at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father Roger Hall Owen, brother Jonathan D Owen, grandparents Avery Barton and Emma Barton, Hall Owen and Reba Owen.

He is survived by his mother: Evelyn Barton Owen.

Brian moved to Kansas with his parents when he was six years old.

He returned to Brevard in 2005.

Brian was a member of Selica United Methodist Church.

There were two things Brian enjoyed doing and that was cooking and fishing (Cat fishing) Brian worked at UPM Raflatac in Fletcher NC before his illness.

A memorial service will be held 1pm, Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Selica United Methodist Church.
