Bronson David Shepherd passed away at home on May 24, 2011. He was born July 21, 1976 to Renee Moretz Shepherd and John David Shepherd. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents Raleigh and Lois Moretz. Survivors include his mother, Renee Shepherd, son, Bronson David Shepherd, II; uncles, Randy Moretz and Brent Moretz; cousins, Christy Moretz Diehl, Lisa Moretz Rogers, Randy Moretz, Jr., Ashley Moretz Shelton and Adam Kitchen. Bronson was a loving father and a wonderful friend. He was well liked by everyone who knew him. The family will receive friends on Friday May 27th from 5pm to 6pm at Temple Baptist Church, Brevard NC. A memorial service will follow at 6pm. Bronson had a work related accident earlier in the year and had been unable to work regularly since that time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bronson Shepherd Funeral Expense Account at Carolina Mountains Credit Union.
