Brownlow Jackson Hooper Pisgah Forest – Brownlow Jackson Hooper, age 84, of Pisgah Forest, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 20, 2010. He was a native of Jackson County, and a son of the late Hayes and Julia Bryson Hooper. Mr. Hooper was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WW II, and was retired from Ecusta. Survivors include one son, Michael Hooper of Glenville; one daughter, Sharon Powell and husband Steve of Rosman; one brother, Wendell Hooper and wife Peggy Dean of Glenville; two sisters, Betty Jo Hooper of Glenville, and Peggy Elliott and husband Tom of Hendersonville; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be held at Monday, February 22, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Nelson officiating.
