Carolyn Jeanine Ashe Hendersonville – Carolyn Jeanine Ashe, 49, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Pardee Hospital, Hendersonville, NC. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of Paul Bennett Ashe and Rowena McCall Ashe. Jeanine was a 1981 graduate of Brevard High School and was a 1986 graduate of Western Carolina University. She was a "Baseball mom" and an avid fan of the Blue Ridge Bears. Surviving in addition to her parents are her daughter, April Ashe of Hendersonville; her son, Jalen Ashe of Hendersonville; sister, Rita Ashe Owen and husband Mike of Rosman; nephews, Christopher Lee Owen and wife Ashley, and Shane Michael Owen all of Rosman; great-niece, Makenzie Owen; aunt, Mildred Owen of Brevard; God Parents, Burlin and Ernestine McCall of Brevard. The funeral service will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Danny Byers and Jared Mathis officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am until 11:45 am Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her children.
