Carolyn Galloway Rosman – Carolyn Galloway, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 17, 2014. She was a daughter to the late Lowery Julius "Chief" and Ruth McCall Galloway. She was also preceded in death by her brothers; Charlie and William Galloway. Carolyn was a wonderful wife, loving mother and a doting grandmother who was completely devoted to her family. She was a member of Middlefork Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and served in the WMU. She was an active member of the Eastatoe Community Center Youth Group. Surviving are husband of 50 years; T.C. Galloway, sons; Scott Galloway and wife Kristin of Rosman and Chuck Galloway and wife April of Lake Toxaway, sisters; Betty Jean Davis and Ella Mae Wilson of Brevard, sister in law; Geneva Galloway of Brevard, grandchildren; Anna Bree and Cade Galloway. Funeral services will be held 3pm, Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Middlefork Baptist Church with the Rev. Chester Chappell officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Galloway Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Middlefork Baptist Church Building Fund, 2824 Pickens Hwy, Rosman, NC 28772.
